Chatban now over, mod ignoring me -

In February I was banned from the chat channel by MegaMadness for calling another member a robot. I asked her how long the ban would last and she said she didn't know, but she thinks it's 30 days.
It's April 13th now, well over a month and going on two that I've been banned, she said that she wasn't physically CAPABLE of unbanning me. Honestly, I think this is a staff issue - the chat mods should KNOW that the chat box is handled separately from the forum. Anyway, a week or so ago I sent her a PM and she just ignored it, can I please be unbanned from chat now? J.D. White hats in the air for the American way

You are not technically still chat banned. Your name would have been brown, which would indicate a chat ban. Megan is right- she can't reverse a chat ban. The staff members know perfectly well the difference between moderating the forums and moderating the chat room. That's why there are chat mods and forums mods. Besides, you weren't banned from the forums. And you're not the only one who has had this happen to you. I think it's a system glitch, though I am not sure.
Honestly, posting a thread in this forum isn't going to help you get into the chat room, because like you said, the chat room and forums are separate. The best thing you can do is PM a Project Coordinator. And if you have an issue with the reason as to why you were banned, I encourage you to submit a dispute. To do so, click here. Serendipitously enough I just discovered that today the chat room, which was for whatever reason refusing to let me back in, is working for me again

As the problem has been solved, I'm going to close this thread.
If you have any other problems regarding bans of any sort, as Glitter said PM a PC as they'll be able to help you more then making a thread about it would. If you have any other problems, feel free to make another thread or PM me or another staff member. |
