recovery steps. - April 29th 2016, 03:29 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

This isn't a recovery story or anything. But I am sharing this because I am taking huge steps.

I have taken big steps in this recovery process I am very serious about this. I have already stopped counting calories, well I haven't done it today at least. I haven't over exercised today. I got and read some of the book she told me to get. I gave all my sharps that were in my room to Nanny and Poppy and they got rid of all of them. I haven't practiced my skills for not self-harming yet. I took of the rubber bands on my wrist because I use them to replace sh behavior but it turns into sh. I am sitting in the living room with nanny and writing this to distract myself from purging. I have to work on no judgement but it's hard. I have not gone on the two pro-sites I belong to today and I deleted all my pro KIK groups. And I got rid of all my thinspo on my phone. I still have to clean off my computer. I am so ready to recover.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are
