Re: my sandwhich was disappointing - January 25th 2009, 07:44 PM

Okay! This is seriously like the worst deliama ever! I had a very similar on not to long ago. For Christmas my famaily got one of those "holiday packs" with food. Well thes one was Ritz crackers and some spreads and diffrent types of meats. A week after Christmas I opened it up. I was uber excited cuz it looked soo good! It took me forever to open up that damn spread. I was practically salivating by the time it was open. So I prepare the first cracker. I decide to forgoe the meat, cuz it didn't sound that good. I got a perfect ratio of spread to cracker. I lean in to take a bit. I chomp down, expecting the halleluigh chouras to be playing in the background. My tastebuds rebeled. I had to spit it out. The spread was nasty. I was so sad. All that anticipation for nothing. Augh.

I personally, look forward to the new game smell.
Waited in line for GTA4... opened it up at home... I almost gagged.
The game was almost as bad too... oh well.

cookies are the worst for this happening! because they always look soooo good and smell so good, then its just pure disappointment.

It's like where you go and buy something to eat from the shop and then you eat it and realise it's horrible. You feel so disappointed.

It annoys the crap outta me when this happens!

You spend absolutely AGES preparing it, making sure you get the bread cut right, make sure there isn't too much or too little filling, grab the right flavour crisps to go with it, make the right drink to wash it down with... Even set up a movie to watch while eating!
You've sat down, pressed play on the movie, taken a bite, and its just sheer disappointment all round...the bread is stale and the meat is off...plus theres a fly swimming in your drink...

That's why you always get someone else to make your sandwich for you! When you want a sandwich, you put too much mayo and mustard, then the cheese gets soggy. then it's messy and falls apart.

Always... Always... Someone else makey you sandwich. Got it?

Haha now this thread made me hungry... and afraid to go and make anything! Who knows how miserable it will turn out =[

How about with coffee, when you order your favorite kind, bring it home, settle in to read the paper, or flip on the tube to your favorite show, sit on the couch, take a sip of your steaming beverage... and crap. It tastes like crap. Someone messed up your order and it's 20 degress and snowing outside so there's no way you want to go back out there for take two. So you still sip your bad coffee because there's nothing better to do.

*goes and makes cheese on toast* =]

the coffee thing happened to me too! On Christmas Eve no less! I ordered a hot chocolate at McDonalds. They gave me coffee! Not even good coffee! The crappy bitter kind, with no sugar or cream! I was so pissed off.
