Just bored...

This holiday season, I'm definately not in the holiday spirit. At all. I feel extremely spoiled for saying this. I'm not depressed, I'm not having trouble at home... Much, anyway, and I've been able to deal with what little bit there is quite well on my own. I just feel, in every sense, extremely bored with my life.


I've found no new books to read, no new bands to listen to, no new activities to involve myself in, no new places to go, no new people to talk to, no hobbies, new nothing in general for the last two months. Even Christmas is a bore.


Everything new in my life, I snap it up and devour it. For instance, I went to town and picked up a Vogue magazine the other day. I read it for three hours straight, all the articles, even the captions. It was like for that length of time, I stepped through a door into another world, completely and totally different.


I'm bored with life. I'm bored with my home, I'm bored with everyone in it except my little brother. I'm bored with school, with everyone in it including my best friends, which I know sounds stuck up, but it's true: I've did nothing but hang out with the same people since school started. I'm bored with all the places I commonly frequent, and can't go anywhere but those places. I'm even bored with writing my stories, which is saying something.


Therefore, I don't know what to do. I'm extremely bored, but I don't want to be. I need new things, pronto, or I swear I'm going to go insane. Anybody have any suggestions?

Both awesome books, and are both about teenagers. If you like reading, and you like reading about drama, and teen life, then these are the kinds of books you will like.

I know exactly what you mean I have been feeling a similar way lately but not the exact same. I wish I had something helpful to tell you. I guess you could try talking to new people at school to make different friends? Maybe if you don't have a boyfriend then having one would help. Sorry I can't think of anything better.

I've read "Twisted" before. Depressing though, so make sure you're in the mood.
