Summer Indiana Meet

Since so many people from the original meet up couldn't make it...we're going to try for a summer meet.

Firstly, TeenHelp Legalities:

Would anyone be interested in Conner Prairie? It's pretty neat. It's around $15/person. It shows how Indiana was in the 1800s. You walk along dirt roads and into old 1800 houses. You get to see them churning butter or 'selling' items at the general store. Sometimes they let you sample the food or have a free piece of candy from the general store. There's some delicious food items as well. You watch a blacksmith making items. And you literally interact as if you were in the 1800s.

Sometimes if you bring out a cell phone or something, the workers act all shocked at the technology it's pretty fun sometimes.

There is also the Challenger Center, which is based on space. So you pretend you are in a space shuttle or that you are in the control room on earth and assisting those in the space shuttle. I've emailed somebody about how many people are required to do that. So do let me know if you are interested.

Conner Prairie sounds nice so long as the weather is good. The Challenger Center would be a safer bet if you don't want to have to count on the weather.

Alright, the Challenger Center said the minimum is 16! So, if we can get that many people, that would be amazing. I'm thinking not though.

Honestly, the second week of July would be best for me. The last two weeks are out for sure and I'm getting back from Hawaii at the end of June/beginning of July. If we did do the first week, towards the end would be better. Sorry, I know I'm a bit specific.

Specific is good. Though first week of July is probably not doable. More traffic and travelers, and raised prices due to July 4th.

But we can still consider it.

We can also do indoor rock climbing. Indoor Ice skating.

Okay guys so due to some circumstances the meet needs to be some place we could sit down and not walk around a lot an idea me and Kelly had was a teenhelp cook out at her place. She has video games, movies, a projector, and more. So it'd still be fun and this way we can all participate. Kelly's leg as many know has been injured so walking right now isn't the best idea for her so we were thinking this may be a good route to go, but need to know what you guys think and if anyone would wanna come still.

All depending on how Lucas is doing, I might attend. July is when his pediatrician is coming home from vacation so I know that the entire month will be full of doctor's appointments for him and me. >.>

Hey guys. I'm moving in Mid-August (out of state and Bre I'm texting you now to tell you! LOL). So if we could do the meet mid or late July, or early August, that would be awesome.

Otherwise I'm going to be gone! Though I plan on coming to visit here often, so don't ever have a meet without me knowing :P

Does end of July work for anyone or not work for anyone? I'm talking July 14 or 15, 21 or 22, or 28 or 29

Do let me know soon. Cookout at my place, though we may be in a mess from moving. I no longer have the project but we have a lovely plasma HD tv Can do hot dogs, brats, and hamburgers (cheeseburgers). Also have fries available. Can have some chips as well. Tea, water, coke, rt beer, strawberry lemonade.

We have different versions of the game Life. Have a couple Monopoly games. Have Catch Phrase which is pretty fun. Deck of cards. Video games (ps2, xbox 360, wii, and dreamcast).

Some people are welcome to stay as many nights as you like. I can provide rides, but it will be limited due to my leg. If you stay with me, all meals are on me.

Guys will be a bit harder to have over, but if there is no other way, we can do that.

Please let us know! I will start PMing people who have posted on the 27th of this month if I do not hear from you!

Okie guys does July 28,29 work for all? it works for me, Kel, Alex and Iris, but we wanna see if it works for others. If not we can see what other dates work for everyone, but just let us know so we can figure all out. I'm excited for this!

Hey guys, we will be doing July 28th. I can provide boarding for up to 4 people. Please let me know if you are coming or not. We will have a cookout at my place, along with some board games, card games, and movies.

I need movie ideas. We will have hot dogs, brats, and MAYBE hamburgers/cheeseburgers. We can have fries, too. To drink will be lemonade, water, coke, milk/choco milk, and root beer. So I need to know how many people are coming. Either PM me or post on here.

Once I know who is coming, I will PM you all the address once it is closer. Anyone staying the night needs to bring the following:

Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Hairbrush/comb
Overnight clothes
Following day clothes
Pillow (if there are more than 3 people staying, I don't have a 4th pillow - won't need blankets, I have enough)
Any medications

As for rules for staying at my place? No smoking inside. No drugs, unless currently prescribed allowed. No gossiping about other users from TH. You all can have a shower :P no worries there.
