Your lyrics into a song? - November 18th 2011, 03:16 AM

So basically I've got my entire home-studio setup and running, I know how to use it, instruments and VSTis... I can sing fairly well, and I'm ready to start recording. Basically my problem is that for the time being I have absolutely NO inspiration whatsoever, I really just want something simple to work with and record.

That said, I'm looking for people who'd like to have their lyrics submitted to be used in a song by an indie artist they've never heard of so they can show all their friends how rich they'll be one-day when that artist becomes famous and they start getting royalties. OK, maybe I exaggerated. Point conveyed nevertheless.

Please PM me any submissions and ideas for how you want it performed, if none are provided I'll just use my own artistic intuition.

Guidelines:

Make it as personal as you wish but use metaphor and third person for thouchy subjects like SH (been there, done that). For instance, "She" instead of "I". Try to follow something similar this guideline:

Verse 1
Chorus
Verse 2
Bridge
Chorus

Whatever, the point is don't go all prog-rock on me and have 15 different sections with 98 time signatures alternating every 3.7ms with a 2.8ms delay and your lyrics alternating between Latin, French, and Afrikaans.

That said, hit me up if you have ideas.

P.S. You will totally be given credit, not to worry about that.
