Random erections?

I don‘t really have a clue about this, but it seems I get erect really easily. The tinest thought that comes into my mind (or none at all) will make me. Maybe I just get turned on easily? :P It‘s quite embarrasing.
I‘m 13, is this all part of puberty or what? Is this normal?

It's just part of what hormones do; nothing that needs to be taken too seriously or personally - unless you want.

As others have said, this is just something that happens.

From the oneset of puberty to about age 25 it is totally natural to have a "random" erection. However eventually it will subside.

Hey there!
For young men your age, erections are very common. The hormones in your body are bouncing all around and your body is kick-starting itself into adulthood. You are totally normal, and most if not every boy goes through this. It can be quite embarrassing at times...similarly if a girl would get her period unexpectedly at school...But the best thing you can do is just shake it off and keep on going. Don't worry about what others think. Chances are it's not as visible as you think it is. If they don't last for very long, maybe when you get one at school or somewhere public, you can just find somewhere to sit down or excuse yourself to the bathroom and just lay low for a bit until it subsides. Other guys have done things like started thinking of something really repulsing to help it go away.

My ex says that when he was 13 he got that a lot. And he would think about our ugliest teacher or dead puppies and it would go away pretty quick. You could also try to put w book in your lap if it's too obvious. Good luck! And don't worry we all have those awkward moments at the start of puberty

Actually, although it hasn't been heavily studied, some sex therapists speculate that it is not healthy to think of negative thoughts to make an erection go away, especially at the start of puberty as this is the time that helps define you sexually as an adult.

An alternative would be to think of a complex math problem and try to complete it in your head, or better yet, concealing it.

The most annoying part is when you wake up in the morning or get up from sitting down for long periods of time and you get one, apparently the body is just trying to get the blood flowing.....
