is shaving normal in girls?

i regret shaving down there after just doing it, is it normal? i feel like it isn't i'm 14 years old and i am a girl

I do it! and if it makes you feel any better, my boyfriend PREFERS that I do. I also prefer to because I don't like all that hair...it kinda grosses me out. So yes, I'd say it's more common than we think. =)

i do it too it's completly normal.
my boyfriend prefers it trimmed down neatly,not completly shaved but i feel better when it's completly shaved so i just do it for my benefit lol.

I don't do it that often because I'm lazy (lol) but I do like how it looks when it's shaved.
So yes, it is normal. Some women just prefer little to no hair in some places! And it's completely up to you how you "groom" down there.

i shave. Always have. I hate the hair as well...I about died while i while i was pregnant because it drove me insane because i could not reach over my huge stomach lol. So i made the hubby do it for me haha...I've never waxed and really dont think i have the guts too because i do believe it would hurt too much.

Waxing is pretty painful, but you feel all smooth and lovely after, and its not itchy like shaving. X .

how do you do it yourself? like do you buy wax strips or what? isn't it really sensitive down there cos i wax my underarms and legs but i get them done i don't do them myself

Shaving there the first few times feels itchy as hell ¬____¬ It's not itchy at all anymore though. I've kind of given up doing it as it grows back too quickly and I'm lazy =))

Loads of people do it though.

You can go and get it waxed at a salon with your legs and underarms.

A bikini line wax is just around the edges.
A hollywood wax leaves a small strip of hair leading down in a 'landing strip'
A brazillian removes all hair.

May I recommend taking some pain killers an hour before hand

i'd feel too embarrassed to get it done properly i'd want to wax myself but i don't think wax strips would work would they? would it hurt more because i've already shaved so they'd be harder?

I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself tbh.

Ignore her lol. Do it yourself. I do.
Get some good quality wax strips like Veet, and listen to some music or have a friend there to talk to you and distract you while you do it, or get a close friend to do it if you feel you cant.
Proper hot wax you get in tubs are better than strips though, but strips work fine x

But she doesn't even wax her legs herself, defintley not a good idea for the first time you wax yourself to be on your most sensitive region!

Personally, I like to have some hair down there, so I just shave the bottom and leave what's on top. A lot of girls prefer to shave it completely, but I find that makes me feel more like a little girl than an adolescent one.

What it boils down to is personal preference, really. Some people don't shave it at all. But if you do, that's perfectly normal too.

Where would you get bikini hair removal cream - i can find any anywhere! I want to try it out cuz im used to waxing and I want to try having the effect without pain OR stubble, and all I can find is stuff for your legs x
