Okay... So I have kind of an odd question...
I have PCOS, and I have always had irregular periods for as long as I can remember. I am now on Aldactone to lower my testosterone, and I take Prometrium for the first 14 days of the month to induce my period. My boyfriend and I have been 'messing around' lately. Like we've never had sex, and we don't plan on doing it either, but we have done just about everything else besides actually penetration. We are both virgins, and my hymen is still in tact. Today I went into the bathroom, and I have really dark brown, almost gooey looking discharge. I shouldn't be having my period for another 2 weeks, not until after I finish the Prometrium for the month. I've heard people say that is normal, and that is not. I guess that I was just wondering what you guys know about it? |

I'd think it would depend how long you've been taking these medications.
If you just started, I wouldn't worry, you're body is still adjusting and getting used to them. If you've been taking them for a while and have never had this happen, it might be a good idea to see your doctor. How's your life? It's been a while God, it's good to see you smile <3 |

I have been on them since the beginning of August, so it's not like i'm just starting them. I mean maybe I'm starting my period already. Ugh. Now that means that i'll have another one in two weeks again. I miss my birth control.
One of my friends told me that maybe it was from stress. I am in the middle of mid-terms right now, and I've been unbelievably stressed. So i'm guessing that that has something to do with it... I wonder if since the progesterone is just to bring on my period, and since (i think) i'm already having it, then if I could get away with just not taking it this month. It is EXTREMELY expensive for a college student. |

Since the beginning of August isn't that long. With the BC pill they tell you to wait a month to adjust, it's only been 2 for you.
But yes, stress, if you're really stressed out, that can reeeally affect your body. How's your life? It's been a while God, it's good to see you smile <3 |
