no protection- plan b questions help - October 4th 2011, 07:56 AM

So about 3 days ago i got drunk and slept with someone without using anything. took the morning after pill and fingers crossed its all sorted.

Thing is, last night i got drunk again. And the same guy told me that we did it again without using anything. I have absolutely no recollection, but guess he's not lying.

Now, i know i need to go on more permanent protection.
But in the short term i dont know what to do.

Will the first pill still be effective? do i need another? can i take another?

This is so stupid. i'm not this person, i hate alcohol

Just one smile makes you think i'm happy... why won't just one tear make you realise i'm not? x

You would need another, as the other wouldn't still be affective ... however, I don't know that you can. It's a pretty strong pill and you aren't meant to take it very often :/
I would go to your doctor or clinic this time, although you can get it at a pharmacy. The doctor/nurse will be able to talk you through more permanent protection at the same time. Also maybe get an STD test just in case?
Try not to worry too much

As said above, Plan B isn't meant to be taken every time you have an accident. It's very strong, and it can altar your cycle as well. I think it's best to see a doctor about this one.

I don't think you can take the Morning After pill this soon after taking one
You need to see the doctors for a method of contraception. Unfortunately, if you DID sleep with him unprotected there is a chance you could be pregnant. I really can't think of what you can do until you can test as you CAN NOT take the Morning After pill this soon after the other!
