Non-PG13: Messy XD

Ok. So this potentially could be embarrassing but what the heck.
I haven't had sex in a while. A long while. BUT, the last few times we did, we didn't use condoms [I AM on the pill, don't worry, I'm not an idiot] and...to be frank...its so...MESSY.
Is there a knack to it that we're missing?

Trying not to give TMI but...ladies...have you ever tried standing up straight after?! It's horrifying! Am I supposed to do a walking handstand there? I'm athletic enough to do it but...sheesh. SO. Someone enlighten me. Is it normal? Is there something I'm missing here? Or am I forever destined to run to the nearest bathroom with a towel/nearest absorbent object?

Admittedly...it's amusing at the time. But also a nuisance. Tell me I'm not the only one?

I don't have any advice really because I've been having the same issue lately.
I've recently got a new boyfriend and been fitted with the implant so we stopped using condoms every time, I always used condoms with my ex so I haven't had this problem in the past.

The times when we don't use a condom I usually end up running to the bathroom after or grabbing a towel which kind of ruins the mood a bit even though my boyfriend finds my reaction when I stand up hilarious.

So yeah I'm just going to hijack your thread for advice

Try having tissues/a small towel at the ready Put it underneath you if need be xD Good luck with this!

Just have a towel ready, and sit on it for a couple minutes after you guys are done. That's what I do.

I found that standing up straight after ends in a bad result... But staying laid down for a while and then getting up carefully whilst kind of clenching seems to help hold it.

You should keep a towel nearby for use after having sex, or lay one underneath you while you're having sex. As the above poster said, it also helps to lay down for a bit afterward before getting up.

This happens to me as well. I always keep a wash cloth or towel handy to grab whatever may have slipped out. It's a normal occurrence, and happens to most girls. So, there is no memo you've missed.

I've found having a towel handy is the best option but it seems to kill the mood a bit.
As for having sex on a towel, for me that is always awkward when we are leading up to sex and I'm like "Stop! Wait! I need to put a towel down first!". It kind of takes away the spontaneity.

I'm glad I haven't missed anything but I kind of wish there was another better solution than just having a towel handy.
I suppose I just have to get used to it a bit and hopefully it won't bother me as much.

Hah, it's normal, it freaked me out too when it first happened. :P I usually try and stand up straight away or scoot to the bathroom because I hate the feeling that it hasn't all....come out. You know. But having tissues on hand is a great help, sometimes you can just stick one down there or quickly move on to a towel and.....chat or something while things do their business!!

It's normal. I would recommend towels, or just using condoms even if you are on the pill, condoms def help avoid this issue, and if they're well lubed, they can really help.

It is totally normal. It has to come out at some point Typically, my boyfriend & I have tissues ready for afterwards & I tend to shower a few minutes later.

Hahah, thanks for the advice guys. Looks like it's a case of grab a towel and just deal with it. At least my fella always sees the funny side

And I guess - when guys use condoms they kinda have to be...surrounded by it until the condom comes off, so it's fair trade :]

Definitely keep a roll of toilet paper next to you! Its a bit unladylike but my boyfriend says that it's better I do that than just leave it Plus you don't always have to run to the bathroom, just put it in the bin and have a shower later.
