Freaking out.. - April 27th 2012, 05:15 PM

So for anyone that has been pregnant in the past - HELP!

I went in for my doctor's appointment on Tuesday and he checked to see if Lucas had turned yet. He said he couldn't tell if he had or hadn't so we're scheduling an ultrasound after my next appointment on May 8th. Should I be worried?? I mean they usually are head down by 30 weeks and I'm already 33 weeks along.. Is there ways we can move him ourselves?

I just don't know if this is normal or not and I am freaking out. I've been slightly stressed out about this and don't know what to do. I mean I'm pretty sure he's head down already.. I get feet poking out of me and feet getting shoved into my ribs. And hiccups towards my pelvic bone. Just someone tell me to stop worrying!! I don't want to end up having a c-section. It is NOT in my plans whatsoever. UGGHHH.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not uncommon for them not to be head down quite yet. And, if a c-section is what they have to do, they'll do it. It wasn't in my sister's plans to have c-section, but my niece was in distress, and needed to get out ASAP! The doc's my sister worked with got Shelby out in under 2 minutes. Pretty quick if you ask me.

Stop worrying. They said they "didn't know" if he was head down yet or not. They didn't say he wasn't. They just couldn't tell. Keep calm. Stressing is only going to make things worse for both you and Lucas, and that's not healthy.

I haven't been pregnant well that far my first time or obviously haven't made it to that point yet. My opinion is, if you doctor was anything like the original doctor I went to he would have said that there was something to worry about. My doctor was good with that, I"m sure most are. I like that better with doctors anyway, telling you how it is. That something may be a problem or not. Instead of, the "wait-and-see", so i wouldn't be so worried.

I haven't been pregnant long enough to experience this - but I do know that it's not uncommon (I know people who's babies never did turn) and unfortunately, if the baby isn't turned then it can result in a c-section. Now, I'm sure your doctor can attempt to turn him around but that isn't always guaranteed.

Like mentioned before, they didn't say he was down or not, they just don't know. I wouldn't worry because stress isn't exactly the best for your little one. The 8th isn't TOO far away, and hopefully he will be down in time. Good luck <3

I just won't say good bye, my precious.

I really do miss you.

Just a girl with an angel above, just a girl with an angel to love. My angel grew wings and she did dare to fly. But I promise my angel, it's only good night but never good-bye. My angel, my angel in heaven above. My angel, my darling, you'll always have my love. Rest in peace, my sweet darling, it's only temporary that we part. My angel, my angel, how you still do steal my heart </3

some babies don't turn until labor starts. Don't worry about it, that should be the last thing on your mind. A happy healthy baby is all that matters in the end.

You're more then likely ok.
You still have a ways to go, babies can turn in the very last few days.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it.
