My daughter(sister) is 8. And she is actin the way I acted. She says she is not good enough then she bangs her head against hard surfaces. While sayin she aint good enough, she is stuipd, how she hates her life extc. She only does this when she is in trouble, sad or mad. Which I dunno why. I dont want her to do this, I dont want her to make the same mistakes that I did. What do I do. She is only 8.

Hi Casper,

I think that you should make sure that she's okay. The best person to talk to about this would definitely be your mom. Let her know what's going on and she should be able to reach out for the proper help.

There might be something going on in her life/in her mind that she hasn't told anyone about. Head banging can also be considered a form of self harm.
