Bleeding?????

So, all the tests are coming up negative..and today, 44 days after my last period (I'm on a 33 day cycle)...I'm bleeding. I don't think it's my period though, because it doesn't look or smell like it.

I had sex last night, and after I got dressed I went to the bathroom and there was blood on my underwear. Like not a toooon, like it would have been if I had gotten my period, but it was definitely there. And then after I used the bathroom I checked for blood again and there was just a tiny bit. So I showered and went to bed. Well, I got home around four, and went to sleep. This morning I wake up and go to the bathroom and there's blood on my underwear, but again, it's kind of random and not a tooon, so I know it's not like my period. Then I try and pee and there's a lot of blood. A lot. Kind of like when you're on your period and you feel kind of a blood clot sort of thing? But this blood wasn't the same color.

Now I'm feeling cramps, but they aren't normal period cramps. I also have a pain that comes and goes in my lower right abdomen..but I've had those kind of pains in the left lower side and right upper side for weeks, so it;s probably unrelated.


What do you think is going on? I doubt it's an ectopic pregnancy, because I've heard the pain from those is unbearable. What do you guys think??

Are you on a completely regular cycle? Mine varies from about 26 - 34 days, so it could just be rather late. Also, have you had a proper pregnancy test done at the doctor's?

This sounds to me (even if I'm incredibly inexperienced) like an early miscarriage. The abnormal bleeding, the clots, the abdominal pains. It could POSSIBLY (someone correct me if I'm wrong) be the reason your tests are showing up negative. If your body has been rejecting the fertilised egg from the start, then it wouldn't be producing the hormone that causes pregnancy tests to turn positive. This is just a theory though, please don't go from this.

Also, all women are different. It could be an ectopic pregnancy that you haven't felt pain from. Rare, yes, but nobody can say that ALL ectopic pregnancies are extremely painful.

I read on this source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ancy-test.html : that bleeding from an ectopic is not usually much, and can be brown in colour. (I interpret that as being different from a normal period from what you describe.) It also mentions low hormone levels which could possibly (again, correct me if I'm wrong) be why the pregnancy test is coming out negative. It does say that even with an ectopic, tests would usually be positive but can still occasionally (albeit rarely) be negative.


I strongly strongly STRONGLY advise you to go to your doctor and have them give you a proper pregnancy test. No matter the result of this, ask them for a sonogram/ultrasound scan to see if you have an ectopic, if only to put your mind at rest.

I would either way to go the hospital. Even if happens to be nothing (which to me since I'm not a doctor sounds like a misscarriage, possibly an infection or even a ruptured cyst). I would definately call your doctor and see what they say or go to the hospital
