please help ! morning after pill issue :) -

hello. new here, need some much needed help.
last month . in july, i took the morning after pill. and got my period 16 days late, but i did get it andall my preg tests were negative. now my period after that, was due monday 29th august, and its not here yet. is this normal ? for this period to be late. i have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. but no where close to ejaculating in me. we would have sex for no more. 2 minutes then we got a condom on. but my question is. is it normal for my period the month after taking the pill, to be late ?! |

Hey there!
Firstly, let me be the first to welcome you to the website. I hope you enjoy being here like I do! Yes, it's normal for your periods to be out of whack for a while after taking the emergency contraceptive pill, or Plan B. If you're concerned you might be pregnant, you could take a pregnancy test. As long as you took the pill within 72 hours after unprotected sex, you should be fine. If you're period still remains out of whack, or it comes late, I'd speak to your doctor to make sure it's not some under lying health issue keeping you from getting your period. well yes. when i took the plan b pill after unprotected sex. it was about 12 hours after.
and i did get my period after that, though it was 16 days late. but now its time for my next period to be due. and its late. though i have had sex again. all starting out unprotected, but no longer than 2 minutes into it, a condom was put on. so my boyfriend wasnt anywhere close to ejaculating when it was unprotected. but yes. its my next period which is late |

Yes it's still normal for that one to be late, but I hope you also know that you're still playing with fire by having unprotected sex, no matter how short of a time it lasts. It's just not a good idea.

It's normal. The pill screws up your system. Wait it out a few more weeks, if no period within about two weeks take a test or see a doctor.
