Personally, I'd like to have two children, a boy and a girl, about 5 years apart. My friend wants to have 5 or 6 kids. Yikes! How about everyone on here. Who wants to contribute to overpopulation?

It depends on how my life is. If I mature more and become emotionally and physcologically stable and have a well paying career and wonderful husband, then yeah maybe I would like two children. I'm such a lazy person I don't know how I would handle caring for and raising children.

Personally, I don't like children. They're loud, messy, smelly and I don't really find them cute.

I'm 99% sure that I never want kids. Maybe my opinion will change in the future but as of now that's how I feel. I'd rather get a puppy

i already had a daughter and nobody would replace her. she hold my heart. but in the future, i prolly would have about 4-5, being as im 1 of 7 kids in my family, im used to big families and would like to have one too.

Once I'm married and have got into a registrar training program I would like to have a few kids, probably three? (Three is a good number, not too many but enough so that if two are fighting, they can talk to someone else.)
I will be 28-30 by that time so I would probably have them 2 years apart. I'd love all girls but hey, whatever nature throws me, right?

I'm really lucky to have a very supportive partner who is thinking about being a house-husband and working from home so I can continue my career in medicine.

I want at around 6 or 7 kids of my own, that I give birth to. I've already had a miscarriage so if I am unable to reproduce I'll be extremely upset. Then when my youngest is about 12, I want to adopt or be a foster mom towards special need kids. I love children and helping out! The thought of sex scares the shit out of me though! Once I get over my PTSD, depression and most of my anxiety the only problem with having a kid now would be money issues. I hopefully will not start to have kids until I'm almost done with medical school. I watched my baby sister when she was 2-4 months old, I woke up with her, fed her, changed her, played with her and my four year old brother and I found if fairly easy. She did have a spitting up problem and could barely keep here formula down. And my brother talked back a lot. I could careless if I get married, as long as my kids have some sort of father figure. I didn't have my dad around but my father figures were 3 of my uncles, my grandpa, and my step dad but he was my moms ex at the time. I'm sort of going on and on. Point being, I want a lot of, I will not have kids if it is in an unstable situation though.

I want kids in about 10 years or more but only when I'm married and in a stable relationship with a stable form of income. If I'm with a man I want at least one kid naturally and either way I want to adopt. If I with a female I would want to do envitro at least once. Honestly I do not want more than 3 kids, 4 would be seriously pushing it, but right now my gf of 10 months wants a huge family and if we are to get married later on in life then this'll be something for us to talk about.

I'd love kids at some point. I don't know how many. Realistically, I guess two. But there's part of me that wants lots. I know that I'll only have the two maximum though, unless things happen unplanned. I've grown up in a family of four kids, and I envy families with two. xD

There's gotta be a way to avoid disclosing the mental problems, and what physical issues do you have that would preclude adoption? Considering some of the fucked up people who reproduce these days and the need for foster parents, I think you should be able to find a way.

I most definitely want children. I always tell my fiance that I want 4 kids, but he always says, "Let's start with one and then we'll see after that..." I always tease him and say, "Just remember, because you said that, we'll end up with twins."

I want 4 - I have always wanted an even number of children because I feel like having an odd number of kids may leave one who feels like they're not included (my family has 3 - twins, and then me... We were together, more often, in a duo with one left out than a trio).
My family does have a history of twins in every generation, so I know that I'm much more likely to have multiples, but we do also have singletons, so I've kind of set myself a range of 3-5 kids, depending on how the dice get rolled...
As far as ages apart, I would like them to be relatively close in age... Somewhere between 1.5-3 years apart. I figure if they're closer in age, the more likely they'll be to stick together as siblings. My siblings and I are 20 months apart, and although it took us a while for us all to get along (we're now 22 and 23 years old, my sister and I started getting close 4-5 years ago and the closeness with my brother really only started within the past year), I think the smaller age gap helps us relate to one another a bit better, which I definitely like. I want to see all of my kids get along with each other, hopefully earlier on than my siblings and I.

So... 3-5 kids, 1.5-3 years apart from one another.

I WANT 6 KIDS! i want 2 of my own and 4 adopted. if my partner doesn't want that many then he/shes not worth it. i want someone who can accept my desires. i don't want all of them at the same time but maybe 2 or 3 at a time would be ok.
