Ok, so I was at my friends house and his sister also had a friend over, one who I have known since kindergarten and we have had a " hey how are you, goodbye." friendship. My friend went to the bathroom and I went to go help the girls make a cake. When I walked in the sister's friend came up to me an put some cake icing on my nose… not knowing what to do, I put a dot of icing on her forehead. Long story short, we had this big icing fight and kept giggling the whole night ( I spent the night, she did as well. ).

So the reason of my whole story is, is she trying to tell me she likes me or was it just a friendly thing?

Its hard to say. It does sound like flirting, but she could also have just been playful. You'll need to hang out with her more and watch for other signs. Does she always try to be near you? What does she say when she talks to you? If you pay attention, sometimes you can pick up on these.
