- I am a twenty year old college student. Life throws a lot of different things my ways and sometimes they knock me down but I always find a way to get back up.
Going to college is one of those things that I like but don't like all at the same time. The past 5 months have brought a lot of new things into my life that have made me reconsider what I truly want to do with my life.
I have come to the conclusion that I need to take life one day at a time. I am slowly working towards getting my Psy'D but when I think about the future to much I get super stressed. Right now I am just going to concentrate on getting my General Education done and go from there.
I love to help people and more importantly I love to learn new things from people. I think that every day we are given a chance to learn something new. Due to this I try really hard to listen to other people.
Like I said; great things have happened in the past 5 months. One of the best things is that I have finally been able to accept my sexuality. It was a long road full of self hate, self doubt and self secrecy but now I accept it. And, to be honest, I haven't ever felt better about myself.
Life can be so confusing at times and so hard but the one thing is you can never give up because in between all the hardships will be good times and those are always worth the bad.
