Ok short thread I have had depression for ages but now it's suddenly disappeared and I have so much shit in life yet I don't feel pain I can feel the pain trying g to get out but I'm not sad or anything it's fucked up seriously why am I not depressed I hate being like my mind don't care I hate to say it but can't I just go back to being normal for the past week depression has suddenly gone it's like it's gone on holiday I don't understand I really don't and no I do t have bi polar question answered
It may be that your mind has 'shut off' from whatever has caused you pain. This shutting off is a natural response when our minds can't cope with something and then the feeling of 'uncaring' or numbness can appear.

Like the person above me said, your mind may be shutting itself out from your pain. You have been depressed for so long that your mind just kind of learns to tune it out so you can stop hurting so much.
