I started work again! - October 11th 2013, 10:02 PM
Last year I worked voluntarily at charity shop for 4 weeks. I really enjoyed it there because it really helped me break out of my painfully shy lifestyle and it helped me to become much more confident in myself and around people of all ages. I really need some up-to-date work experience and as I know everyone there and how everything works I asked if I could come back and work for them again.

My mum said I must have made a really good impression on them because as soon as I asked if I could come back they immediately accepted and asked when's the soonest I could start. It's only 8 weeks but it makes me feel really good they'd instantly want me back and so I start at 10 AM next Monday!

I'm really glad that they accepted you that quickly! It shows that you must be really dedicated if they were so willing to hire you back! Even 8 weeks is some good, updated experience, and I bet you will have fun.

Congrats on getting accepted so quickly! That says a lot about your work ethic and your reliability as an employee, which they clearly noticed. I hope you enjoy working at the charity shop just as much for round 2!

After my first week back it was as if I never left. Everyone's still the same and so's the work. There were a few new faces but overall, I've enjoyed it!
