Hey there,

Your doctor really should have advised you what to do but the best thing to do is to change your diet. You need to start eating more healthily so that it doesn't progress onto diabetes. Exercising more can also help.

The Healthy Eating Guide on here should help you to change your diet

That's the only thing you can do really. Although, I think there are a few preventative medicines you could take so I'd suggest asking your doctor about those.

Take care and I hope this helped
