Hair coloring

How old were you when you first colored your hair? What was that color? Do you still color your hair? Do you go to the salon or do it at home?


I was around 12 or 13 when I first colored my hair. It was done with bleach at the salon, and I wanted it blonde. I've done it in the past year, though no longer with bleach thankfully. I'm on the fence with wanting to color or not. I'm old enough that my hair color will be changing in the next decade or so, so should I embrace the natural hair color or keep dyeing?

I did blonde highlights in high school but switched to coloring my hair cool colors by a hairdresser. I haven’t had natural hair in a few years. I like changing it up.

You can have fun with dyeing it and try out cool colors! You don’t even have to do a shade that’s not “natural” looking.
