Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has any tattoos on their shoulders? Well like the your shoulder blade in the back. That's where I plan on getting mine and I wanna know, does it hurt like a lot?

This is gonna sound lame, but I wanna get a fancy looking cross with my grandmother's initials in the middle of it. She was a big religious woman. And I was really close with her.

I had a moon+stars and some clouds on my shoulder..
This is what I have now
(it still needs color added to it)
As you can see it's very big and takes up half of my back lol.
The Dino was the most painful spot. (right on my spine) But the rest was fine.
If you can, bring some chewing gum with you or a sucker. That helps a lot. And bring someone to talk to
And the tattoo you want to get is not lame. It's lovely.

Aw I like yours
And thanks. It means a lot to me because my grandmother did too. We share a birthday
The second one I want, I kind of want it on my hip. But not on the bone, if that makes sense. I want a peace sign in the shape of a heart. Because as hippy as is sounds, love and peace are two of the things I believe in most. And two of the things I think this world needs the most.

I have one on my shoulder and it didn't hurt me at all. And I think that your tattoo idea sounds lovely :]

I have one placed there and it goes over my shoulder blade and I didn't think it hurt at all. There was one spot where I felt a literal pinch but it was by by ribs like where the band of your bra goes. Anyways I found it relaxing and it was a great experience I will definitely be getting another one. As for your idea, don't ever think your idea or cheesy. I personally feel that is a wonderful idea and a great memorial to your grandmother. Any other questions feel free to ask.

I have one on my lower stomach by my hip bone.. think that's what you meant?
If so, that one didn't hurt at all
and it's nice to get ones that mean something to you instead of some random object lol.

I have one of my tattoos touching the spine and it wasn't painful at all, the one on my hip hurt more.
But neither one was unbearable pain, more of an annoying pain.
I think the idea for your tat is lovely, it's good to have something meaningful, makes it all the more worth the scabbing and annoyance.

I have that on my shoulder blade..sorry if the picture is huge haha, and it didnt really hurt until he went over my actual bone..which would be the right side of the tattoo in the picture. That stung a bit. But it wasnt intolerable pain. It just gets annoying after awhile. If you want to focus less on the pain then bring a friend or two with you and have them talk to you about alot of different stuff, you wont focus as much on the tattoo. And my tattoo artist let me stop and take a break because I was gettin a little lightheaded (1st tattoo (: ) and I drank some mtdew and ate candy and I was fine. So you could always do those two things like I did (: . And I really like your idea, I hope you post pics whenever you decide to get it!
