I want something simple and nothing too crazy or busy.
Here are some things about my grandparents that may help with ideas...
-Both of their birthdays are in November. Their star sign is Scorpio, birthstone is topaz and their birth flower is a chrysanthemum.
-My Nan's name means peace and my Grandad's name means Graceful.
-My Grandad has Multiple Myeloma (type of cancer)
Over the past few years I have had a few ideas. One of my favourites so far has been a dove to represent peace but that is more for my Nan. I would really like a way to incorporate both of them into 1 tattoo because I don't really want 2.
So far for me the most difficult bit is finding on to represent both of them.
So yeah I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. I have searched tattoos so much now my brain has give up

how about a dove intertwined with or carrying a chrysanthemum? I quite like the carrying idea because it kind of symbols an end to troubles/worries (noah's ark?). Or with an emerald or something. Why not just take a load of ideas to a tattoo parlor and get them to do some sketches for you?

I'm thinking 2 doves carrying a chrysanthemum, like a dove on each side of the flower?
Or they could be carrying a banner and you could have something written in the banner
and I just don't like how they look as tattoos. Also I would have to be big to get the detail of the flower and the 2 doves would have to be bigger to be able to carry it.
Then I don't think this will fit on my shoulder blade.
Same with the 2 carrying a banner, that would probably have to go across my whole back with a dove on each shoulder blade.
Another memorial idea I have is to get a ring with topaz stones and get it engraved or something. I like the idea of a tattoo more, it is permanent and would never got lost or stolen.
