Tattoos and Piercings This forum is to ask questions and discuss tattoos, piercings and other aesthetic body modifications.
I am looking into getting my first tattoo. I want it to be something small, but still meaningful.
I love LOVE. I love being in a relationship, falling in love and out of love, the thing I want most out of life is love, I am living for love.
So obviously, I want to get a tattoo that will symbolize this. I have looked online for some ideas and what people have gotten, but I thought maybe you guys might have some suggestions, ideas, pictures, etc.
Anything is greatly appreciated!
Perhaps we all give the best of our heartsuncritically;
to those who hardly think about us in return.

it's not that we want to die; it's that we want to live
Hey Cassie, that's a very deep and complex idea to get a tattoo of... Love can be represented SO many ways.
First of all, I highly highly suggest not getting something like a little heart. It's been done countless times and, in my opinion, isn't all that interesting.
Are there any other languages that you speak? Maybe get the word, "love" in beautiful letters in another language. I also know that there are some old runes for "love" that are incredible to look at.
Think about symbols or languages that mean a lot to you and express love.
"Why isn't bull-riding (Beef NASCAR as I call it) the American sport to end all sports? It's an epic battle of the wills between a man and an angry cheeseburger; and if that doesn't typify our awesome civilization, I don't know what does."
If you google it, it is really nice, an ex of mine got it on his back, and it looked well nice.
Eh, it does look nice, but it's as over used as just using a plain heart. Though I've seen someone get a tattoo in braille once, that could be pretty cool.
I have "love" in cursive tattooed on my hip for mainly the same reasons. I honestly think that is the best to have done. I also like it written in just plain simple lettering.
