O.J. Simpson, the former NFL star and broadcaster whose athletic achievements and fame were eclipsed by his 1995 trial in the brutal killings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, has died of cancer, his family announced Thursday on X. He was 76.
In the greater cosmic scheme of things, does it really matter?

Oh, wow, I did not know he was still alive until just now! The coverage of the murder was a big deal when I was about ten or eleven. I can't believe it has almost been thirty years since that trial. I have no idea what became of him after 1996, so I am not really sure of what to say.

I didn't know he was dead until I saw a meme from a meme group for one of my favorite shows on Facebook.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
