A Poem About My Religion -
July 29th 2010, 07:49 PM
I wasn't certain if this belonged on the "Religion/Spirituality/Science/Philosophy" board or this one, but I wanted to share it with everyone. I apologize if I posted it on the wrong board. (I am Lutheran, but I believe that all people will go to Heaven if they are a good person, regardless of their religion, sexual orientation, etc.)
Please don't flame me if you don't share my beliefs. I wouldn't flame you.
Anyway, it's a fairly short poem... just something I wrote fairly recently, and thought other people might enjoy or would be inspired by.
The Lord Will Love Us All:
God is in our souls,
And so He will remain
His essence lies here, deep within
Our joy, our love, our pain
We all have control
Over what we can do
A life of virtue, or of sin
A path which we must choose
When we stand or when we fall,
The Lord will always love us all
