You can tell something is wrong,
The trashcan says it all
You can tell there's blood flowing
Under bandages, they're hiding
You can tell there's a foul smell
That morning you left for school
I did not scrub my fingers well
Dry brown blood stuck inside nails
You can tell what I've done
Before I could erase the evidence
Will you confront, the things I have done to myself?
You can tell what I've done
I can tell you can tell what I've done
The way our eyes met, when you told me to come
You sensed what I've done
But I cannot tell you what I've done
I have to keep it a secret
Careful to not raise up my sleeve in the slightest
I can sense you'll feel guilty
Even though this isn't your fault
I can sense you feel you're responsible
But you are absolutely not
This is what I've done to my body
I can tell this will make you upset
This is what I've done,
I am the only one,
I harmed my own body
The responsibility does not belong to anybody
But me
This is what I've done
And I can tell, it's
a long hard fight to get through this one
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
