Won't get pregnant right before period?
I'm not saying that's true. I'm asking if it's true that you most likely won't.
(I am using protection so don't say that's why I'm asking. Just curious) |
Re: Won't get pregnant right before period?
Hmm. To the best of my knowledge youcan get pregnant pregnant when you hit ovulation in your cycle. This could be right before your period or it could not be. So it depends on when you get to ovulation as to when you can get pregnant. Of course, this is different for each girl, too.

Re: Won't get pregnant right before period?
There's no telling. The risk is alot less for some women but for others it's just the same as when they're most fertile.
I've known people that thought they were safe to go ahead with this and end up pregnant. It's generally a very very bad idea. |
Re: Won't get pregnant right before period?
You can become pregnant at anytime during your cycle, and for everyone the chances of getting pregnant during different parts of their cycle is different. Yes there is normally a time of ovulation, but that does not mean you might not ovulate another egg during your cycle. And it can happen; this is how some women get pregnant even though they had sex on the last few days of their period. It is possible, is it highly likely, not really. But is this really something you are willing to risk? Every woman is different, and cycles are different. It is always best to use protection all the time. It is just not worth getting pregnant over.

You can get pregnant at any time during your cycle. You probably do have a less of a chance to get pregnant then, but it's not worth the risk to try and find out, you know?
