what are the chances im pregnant?

Ok so i had unprotected sex almost every day this month. I have had heartburn on and off for about the last two weeks, sunday i started cramping like im going to get my period, its getting worse but it only comes in short spurts like lasting for about 15 minutes then it pretty much goes away. i have been really tired, like getting 12 hours of sleep at night and still needing to take naps. Im supposed to get my period friday or sometime around then and i never cramp this long before i get it. Plus i have had sore boobs and normally that goes away about a week before my period. i could just be over reacting and causing my self to feel this. what are the chances im pregnant?

Obviously you know that unprotected sex can and usually does lead to pregnancy.. but let's not go there.

It could be just you stressing out that is causing yourself to feel the signs/symptoms and everything. Which is why you never just go with signs and symptoms. The only thing to do is to take a test, because no one here will be able to tell you if you are or are not.

The general rule of pregnancy tests is to wait until you are late. You can go with the exact day your late, but honestly.. I would give it a couple of days past that. So, if you are still late by Sunday/Monday, take a test and see what happens.

yea it could be stress but with unprotected sex the chances of getting pregnant any given month are about 70%. just wait until the day your period is due and if it doesnt come then take a pregnancy test. i reccomend the digital ones because they are a lot less confusing and hard to read

Just relax stress can cause you to be late. And thinki about it to much like you said will cause you to feel it. So like others said wait till your supposed to start and if you dont take a test. And go from there. Best of luck

I agree with everyone else. Stress does cause your period to be late, and you can actually convince yourself that you're pregnant by noticing little things that you haven't before. If you don't want to get pregnant you really need to use some form of birth control.

Well i took a test this morning and got a positive but im still having cramps like im going to start, i hope nothing is wrong.

I had cramping in the beginning of my pregnancy and some spotting, which is pretty common. If it get's worse and is accompanied by heavy bleeding then something may be wrong and you should go to the hospital.

Since you are pregnant, you should start considering your options... abortion, adoption, or parenting. I suggest telling your parents to help you through this. When I found out I was, I also went to planned parenthood... the nurses were kind, helpful, and thoroughly discussed my options with me and also referred me to other places I could go for support. If you are not considering abortion, I would start on prenatal vitamins asap and go ahead and make your first prenatal care appointment with your obgyn.

The fact that you've had "unprotected sex almost every day this month" makes me wonder if you wanted to become pregnant. I don't think you even needed to ask your question. So you tested positive. ForeverHis has given you wonderful advice. I will just add that if you aren't opting to abort, which I hope you are not, you need not waste any time getting help. You may be young, but someday you might be the Mommy of a baby that depends on you. It is an amazing feeling and the most important role of your life. It is scary and exciting. You made the decision ultimately. Step up to the plate and do the right thing for your baby. He or she is now depending on you. The sooner you accept this situation and face reality the better off your child will be. If you live in denial your baby will suffer. And if there are any complications with the pregnancy, since you may be having some, you need to seek medical help NOW! I wish you the best:0)

Thanks every one for your advice, i just don't feel comfortable talking to my parents about this stuff because they are very judgemental even though i am 18. I will definitely go to the doctor asap because ive already had one miscarriage and im terrified it will happen again expecially with my cramps.

Not talking to your parents about it is a bad idea. Yeah, they're probably not going to be happy, but they're most likely going to be less happy if they find out either from someone else, or at a later date.
