Asking Boyfriend to a dance... - January 8th 2014, 03:46 PM

Both genders, advice here would be great!

In three weeks, we have our Sadie Hawkins dance, and if you don't know what that is, well I'll tell ya! Its basically a dance less formal than homecoming, and the girls ask the guys.

Okay so I've been dating this guy for about a month now, and I know him enough to give you a summary of him. He's in theatre with me and he's an amazing singer, he loves Eminem and plays Call Of Duty professionally, um... he likes food and he's kinda your stereotypical boy.... I, on the other hand, am awkward and honestly I have no idea why he's dating me but sure.

Girls ask the guys.... Guys typically ask the girls to dances and they do it in those cute mainstream ways like writing on their car or putting candy in their locker or handing the poster over the highway. But this is my boyfriend, so its scarier because I don't want it to weird him out but I want it to be cute enough that it makes him want to go even if we weren't dating. I mean, I've never been asked to a dance.... and I've certainly never asked anyone out, let alone to a dance....

Guys, my question for you is, how would you want a girl to ask you, and a guy like my boyfriend, how do you think he'd want to be asked?

Girls... I don't know, what would you do?

I'm sorry I'm kinda freaking out

I'm a man of simple needs, so I'd just like to be asked directly... Hell, like every other guy :P But seriously, it's simplest and the best way to do it. The less complicated way you'll choose, the less stressed you'll be, and the less things will you find embarrasing.

Who dares - wins.
