I'm Janos, and I'm a member of staff here at the site. Staff can be identified due to their bold and coloured usernames, the colours corresponding to different roles each member has. In my case, I'm a buddy. We're here to basically make sure that newbies settle in well and know were everything is, and help them out if needed.
First of all, I'd recommend you check out the Arrivals and Departures forum and say hi, and you'll find there's loads of people who're all waiting to welcome you =)
