In science, nothing is proven 100%. When you start using that as an argument, to me it shows you're uneducated about science....

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

Could you give this scientific reasoning? It's useless to say there is a reasoning but not give it. So, your reasoning you hold is "god can do anything". That's not much of an argument, it's weak and...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

If you don't interpret it figuratively, do you interpret it literally? If so, are there talking snakes, do plants not need sunlight (Genesis 1:11-14), giants walking on Earth, people living 800+...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

This begs the question, do you believe the entire bible as fact? If so, do you believe snakes talk to people, people living for 800+ years, etc...? You can say both are figurative interpretations of...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

Then you should be able to understand what the basic premises of science are yet you haven't been showing that on this thread. If your science classes don't teach evolution, then how and where did...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

It's redundant for you to keep saying it and only shows you understand less and less about science.

Then how can you not understand what science is if you're studying it in high-school? I...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

Apologies, was someone else then. But if you didn't take science in high-school, how can you know much about science? I find no reason to think you're motivated to do your own studying on your own...

Re: Science, religion...thoughts

I'm afraid you did say scientific evidence: "I mean, there is scientific evidence that Jesus is God.... So for those of you who don't believe in God because there isn't enough scientific evidence,"....

You're going to have to specify which miracles you're referring to. In the meantime, a humourous possible explanation.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik0yz5Jo4Os

Then it seems you are using words you don't understand. Science does not prove anything 100% because part of its premise is falsifiability. The fact you're saying you cant show it...
