Well, I don't know how effective they are, but I've never heard of someone having a positive pregnancy test and not actually being pregnant. I think you need to book an appointment with your doctor...

The best thing to do is to take the test now. If you're not pregnant, then you're just wasting all this energy worrying about something that might not be happening. And it would take a lot less...

Well, you don't have to tell him that you are taking a pregnancy test. Or you could just tell him that you've been feeling unwell and that you want to take a test just to be sure. I'm sure he won't...

I assume you've been having unprotected sex (as in without a condom or other barrier method)? If you were having unprotected sex before the shot then I would get a pregnancy test. I don't know...
