Re: breast feeding in public

Nobody is denying that, they are just saying that a few people being uncomfortable shouldn't mean that a woman can't breastfeed.

Re: breast feeding in public

I agree with this completely. I don't see anything rude going on, I think that some people see it as rude just because their opinion has been debated. Anyway it's not up to people to decide when it...

Re: breast feeding in public

Re: breast feeding in public

You think these 2 things are the same? So, when you don't get fed do you start screaming and crying that you want food? :p

Re: breast feeding in public

I never said wrong and inappropriate were the same thing. Ok, so what's the difference between a women breastfeeding in a restaurant to another public place. You're eating, so why shouldn't the baby?...

Re: breast feeding in public

Did you look at the picture Rachel posted? You can hardly see anything because the babys head is right infront of the breast. I bet there will be women in a restaurant more exposed than the woman...

Re: breast feeding in public

If it's not wrong then why shouldn't women breastfeed in public? What I'm not really getting from people is why it's so innapropriate, NOBODY will explain that. It's a natural thing, you don't even...

Re: breast feeding in public

I reeeeaaaaallllyyyy don't see how you can compare a "crack whore" as you so nicely put it, with a woman breastfeeding? I didn't say looking away would make you unaware of what was happening I just...

Re: breast feeding in public

This might come off sounding a bit rude but to be honest who really cares if it makes a few guys feel akward?! Like I said before, loads of things make different people feel awkward but it doesn't...

Re: breast feeding in public

I agree with you that it can make people feel awkward but there is no need to feel that way since it's not like you can see the whole breast since the babys head is in the way. Also, just because...

Re: breast feeding in public

I think you're missing the whole point of a debate here. All I was saying was why should women have to go through all the hassle you described when they could breastfeed. Why shouldn't they...

Re: breast feeding in public

All that is really unecessary though, there is no need. Why should women have to go through all of that hassle when they could quite easily breastfeed?

Re: breast feeding in public

You clearly haven't read previous posts where it has been stated that it isn't advised for women to switch between breastfeeding and bottle milk. Babies might not even usethe bottleif they are used...

Re: breast feeding in public

We are just asking you about what you are saying because it doesn't seem right since you can't back it up. Thats the whole point of the thread, to debate things. All I want to know is why you...

Re: breast feeding in public

This is the debates forum, it's not ridiculous just because people are debating your points. Like I said before though, what is it that is so awful about breastfeeding in your opinion?

Re: breast feeding in public

Well then you would know that most babies who are hungry will just scream and cry. Babies don't think "Oh we're in a restaurant, I should be good and wait for a feed". They want to be fed when they...

Re: breast feeding in public

but that's the point, it isn't necessary to use the bathroom. Come on, you are seriously saying that you would take your food and eat it in the bathroom? *) It isn't "bashing people" to say that they...
