I don't have a specific color, but I stay away from thongs when I'm on my period. They aren't comfortable during that time for me at all. I will wear any color, but I actually like to stay near lighter colors because if I've bled through a little, it's nice to be able to tell.

When I'm on my period (which is very rarely) I like to wear pants that come higher up. I suppose it makes me feel more secure, you know?
Also white pants. This way I know if I'm leaking through

I stay away from thongs too. I usually like to wear not really dark colors, but i never wear white .

It's hard to wear Sanitary Towels when you wear thongs. You have to buy special types that go thinner at the end. Also thongs make you feel exposed... and when I'm on my period, that is the last thing I want to be feeling

I actually just wear whatever pantie's I own (I have no "special" requests when it comes to something I'd rather have stay in my pants or whatever I'm wearing.) And I don't have any thongs.

I wear dark (mainly black). I don't want stains.
But my periods are much lighter since I went on the pill 2 years ago so it doesn't bother me too much. The looser and darker the underwear is, the better. I like to feel comfy.

Well, I definitely stay away from white panties. 
Mostly I wear black panties that time of month.

I'd stay away from the thongs, and wear like breifs of bikini underwear, you don't have to where any specific kind for it, no pair is better for a period than any other. Also, darker underwear suit me better. (:

Personally, I wear dark panties and pants and definitely no thongs lol. I've stained lighter colored panties before and I find it's difficult to get them out unless you do it right away, so now I try to wear mostly black on my period. I wear darker pants because I'm afraid I'll leak at school and walk around all day without noticing a stain on my pants.

I personally like to wear white granny panties haha, I get white because they're soooo cheap at the store, usually cheaper than others, so I just get a pack and wear them so I can see if I leak and if I do, no big deal, just wash it out as best I can, and wear them until I'm off my period and if they're blood stained throw them away since they were so cheap anyway.

The system I've developed over time is to have two sets of underwear -> one nice and lacy and basically stuff I wouldn't want even a drop of blood to get on, and one set that's basically just for period wear, cotton briefs, sometimes a bit stained from past months, all around comfy pants.

Hi! I wear slighty bigger, looser comfier pants so i don't feel exposed and so my pantyliner fits properly also.
As far as thongs go i have worn them when on my period before, i have used the 'thong shaped' pantyliner's but i found they actually moved about alot so that can be awful and if you have heavier periods ( i don't) i would stay away from these, but when i wear a tampon i might wear a thong because my period is lighter, if you have a heavier flow i would stay away from thongs just because they can be uncomfortable at that time of the month and they are kinda small if you have any 'spills' xx

I call them my 'Period Panties' they are the panties you buy at walmart in bulk. I dont mind ruining them with the blood compared to how I would feel If I ruined or stained a cute thong, or boy shorts. And if I dont wear a thong or a cute pair, they are usually black or blood red.

I usually just stick to darker shades of boy shorts when I'm on my period. I've tried wearing thongs before, yeah, didn't work out so well. I have specific underwear that I keep to only wear when it's that time of the month.

Black, preferably tight boyshorts (since they're my favorite for comfort level anyway), never thongs. There are actually pantyliners made for things, I know because I had a friend who always wore thongs no matter what.  Even on period, she was too worried about pantylines. Oh brother.

I normally stay away from thongs too because I feel like there's a higher chance of leaking if I wear one, even with a tampon. I normally stay away from tight clothing too. Sweatpants and loose jeans all the way  Yoga pants at home so my underwear won't show through. Oh, I stay away from wearing flannel PJ pants (definitely colorful ones) because it's thinner material, and when it leaks, it shows BADLY. Awful experiences...
Now with underwear: I prefer to wear my boyshorts, that aren't really tight because they are comfy, whether I wear pads or tampons, and aren't annoying during cramps. I also have those regular cheap underwear from Walmart that I care less about-which sometimes are white on the inside, but like I said, I care less about them because they are cheap anyways and baggy.  Completely sexy.
Sometimes all you need to do is sprinkle a little glitter on someone's raincloud to blend them a rainbow.

Preferably my dark purple cotton undies because they are comfy they don't show stains and yet I can still tell if I leak through. I have about twenty billion pairs of the same exact thing because that's what I feel best in.
