- I have an 18 year old daughter,who is going to be 19 in 3 months.She goes to college part time.I am trying to teach her how to be an adult by being responisable.I have been trying to help her get a job,i do everything for her like make phone call,fill out her applications,and i talk to people.I told her it was time for her to learn to do this on her own,well she went to michigan works yeasterday and started crying the women there told me i cant make her get a job she needs consuling there is something wrong with her.Every time i want her to do something,that she dont want to do she starts crying and saying how her life sucks.What do i do.I know this is all a game she is playing.I am so lost am about to have her move out but not sure what is right and wrong for a parent to do.I am on ssi that is the only income our family has so i cant afford consuling please help me.she has been a troubled teen all her life.she can tell a lie so good that people believe her.
