I would recommend for you to post a thread HERE introducing yourself and say a little bit about why you joined if you haven't already
There is a chat room that is at the bottom of the screen and you can click on it and it opens the room, feel free to go on that whenever. It is a great way to meet new friend
There also are articles you can read, This is the link to the articles.
You can also read and write blogs, that tab is under user features.
I would check both of these out if you have some time.
