I wanted to mention the Arrivals and Departures forum and suggest you create an introduction thread to let everyone know you're new.
There is a lot of areas around the site which are pretty neat! The How to get advice thread which goes over the different aspects of the site and here is a link to the Chat Room which is great for meeting new people and having lots of fun. There is also the Chit Chat forum and Social Groups which are pretty neat if I say so myself.

- Hello, my name is Allison and I love dogs, especially Golden Retrievers. I'm rather quiet and can be a bit moody at times, but I'm a nice person. I used to have frizzy blond hair a few years ago, but I got it cut and dyed into a cute bob with pink at the ends, I had braces in about third grade but not anymore. I am a pretty likeable person, but I mean, not everyone thinks so.
