- I guess since i have had epilepsy since i was about 3 i cant really remember a time without seizures,at first when i was little i had a pediatric neurologist who was hopeful that my seizures would go away. but instead i continued to have seizures all my life, It has been a challange and I was angry and embarrassed all my life knowing that even teachers in my school knew about made me feel shame and the only time i wasnt embarassed was when i had a classroom aide who had a daughter who had epilepsy, so i felt like she understood me. it wasn't until i was 18 and started going to this coffee shop that weekly music shows that i really started realizing that maybe my seizures arent somthing to be ashamned of, But anyway...That was a few years ago,now i found an amazing neurologist who didn't judge me the first time he met me (i was in a really dark place in my life and not really into strangers or people in general unless they had booze) i just kinda sat there in a black hoodie in his office and scowled at him but he some how is impossible to not like or be mad at he just had a happy vibe, and he has found the right medication for me and things are going better than ever
