- Hi. I'm a 17 year old girl who has been going through a lot of bad things through my whole life. My mom was abusive and my dad was thought to be not good enough for custody. I was abused by my mom and step-dad until I turned 12. I ran away from them. I went all the way from California to New York. I finally got to live with my dad. He died when I was 16. I was with him for 4 years exactly the day he died. 8|28|11. After being abused I turned to self harm. I did everything. I cut, starved, and beat myself down. I never stopped until this year.. I was hurting myself until last month. No one could stop me until then. I came on here to learn how to help others. I don't want other people to turn into me. If you have questions ask. I love to talk to people.
