Hello and welcome to TeenHelp! My name is Sam and I'm a Community Mentor here on the site. In a nutshell, that means that I'm available to help you find your way around and to answer any questions that you might have about the different features TeenHelp has to offer. Think of me as your own personal tour guide! I also love chatting with new members, so feel free to shoot me a VM or PM anytime, whether it's because you need advice about something you're dealing with or just for a chill conversation.

Now that you're here, I highly recommend that you take a moment to create a thread in our Arrivals and Departures forum (here). It's a quick, easy way to introduce yourself to our community and it gives our users the chance to give you a proper TeenHelp welcome! While you're at it, I also encourage you to spend some time perusing our forums as a whole. There's a section for everyone, regardless of what they're facing and our users are generally pretty awesome about stepping up and giving meaningful advice!

Another area of the site that I like to recommend to new users is our Chat Room (here). Chat has always been one of my favorite areas of the site and it's where I've made some of my closest friends during my time on TeenHelp. One of the best parts about our Chat Room is that it gives you the opportunity to have real-time conversations with other users, with designated rooms for fun, low-stakes conversations and rooms for when you need (or feel like providing) a little extra support. Chat really is a great place to spend some time anytime you're perusing the site so you can get to know others better.

If I'm being honest, TeenHelp offers so many features that I think I would overwhelm us both if I tried to list them all. There really is something for everyone and so many different ways to access resources so you can get to them in the way that feels best for you. One of the best ways to learn about TeenHelp is to simply poke around and see what you can find.
