Do you have any plans for New Years? 
I'm probably going to hang out with friends or watch movies. I'm not sure yet.

So, I wanted to mention the Arrivals and Departures forum and suggest you create a thread and let everyone welcome you to the site.
Are you here for making friends, getting advice or both? I thought I would give you a link to help you seek help and understand the sites features so here is a link to the How to get advice thread which goes over the different aspects of the site and here is a link to the Chat Room which is great for meeting new people and having lots of fun. There is also the Chit Chat forum and Social Groups which are pretty neat if I say so myself.
