- Hello, my name is Brittany. I am a recovering self-injurer. In the past, I have done many things to hurt myself. These things include cutting, burning, scratching, wound interfering, hair pulling, self-hitting, restricting, and purging. I began cutting again this year, but I forced myself to stop once again. I have been free since May 18th.
I am currently engaged, yes, at 17. My fiance's name is Austin and we have been together since December 10th, 2007. We would love to get married next year, but we will see how it goes.
In September of 2008, I found out that I was pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test when I missed my period, so I was about four weeks along. Sadly, I miscarried the baby at around seven to eight weeks into the pregnancy. Although I was only 15 at the time, I want my baby more than anything. During my very short pregnancy, I dreamed that I was going to have a girl and I chose her name after the first few dreams. I am "saving" her name until she returns to me.
I have a beautiful goddaughter named Gwendolynn. She was born on December 15th, 2009.
