- Hi, Im MaKenzie. Im a freshman at Hendersonville High School. I am a self harmer and I am on slow recovery from it. My life is very different from most teens. Normally they have parents that are sperated and they are both hard on the teen but its totally different with me. My mom is a recovering addict from drugs and my dad is a drinker. My mom also has anger management problems so when I try to talk to her about what Im going through she just yells at me. My dad on the other hand doesnt care what I do or dont do. I can get away with anything with him. He thinks everything is a joke. So Im stuck in the middle. Also my little brother he is 11 has to go through the same things but its my dad that is yelling at him and my mom that doesnt care what he does. I would love to help anyone that needs it and also I would like a little bit of help too.
