- I'm Vanessa and I am 16 yrs old. On November 18, 2009 I was diagnosed with spinal cord caner/tumor I did not have chemotherapy, but I did have intense radiation for 8 weeks, five days a week. Since then on I lost my friends, they did not come and see me, the did not call to see how I was doing, they didn't even text to see how I was doing in the hospital. Until this day I have not hung out with any of my friends, they still haven't came to see me, I haven't recieved a phone calls or text messages to see if I am better. I feel so alone, sad, helpless, upset, miserable, worthless etc. I'm just trying to find help, people who care. I'm in the need of friends, a boyfirend, and support of people my own age, other than my family. I love my family to death and I am thankful for being here for me when I have needed them the most. But now what I need is people my age to help and just realize what I am going through...
