What is the best? - September 11th 2012, 03:56 AM

If someone you loved killed themselves... would you rather them to leave a suicide note or nothing?

Personally I would rather that my friend took a chance and reached out for help. I would hope that they were smart enough to know that there's less risk in talking to a friend, doctor, parent, teacher, counselor, etc. than in ending things.

Things get better, what does anyone have to lose in waiting around and trying to improve their own lives. I would hope that my friends knew me well enough to know they could always talk to me.

I would rather be able to help them. Rather than have to learn they left a note, or no note. It wouldn't matter to me, if my friend killed themself I wouldn't want to live... I'd rather them come to me.

Why do you ask?

I would rather have been able to help. Whether they left a note or not wouldn't matter, I'd still be just as hurt, I'd still be wondering whether or not I would have been able to save them. I would hope my friends knew me well enough to talk to me if they felt they could not talk to anyone.

Why do you ask?
