Angry IAPT - November 19th 2012, 01:03 PM

IAPT, the clinic for depression and anxiety.

I don't know where this goes, but feel free to move it.

Has anyone had any experience with IAPT?

Last week, on Wednesday, I had an appointment booked for 6:00pm, but had to change it on 9:30am on the same day because something came up on the Wednesday. I changed the appointment on Monday. Then had to take the time off of school in order to have this appointment, but they didn't ring me. So I emailed them and they said that they forgot to change my appointment from 6:00pm to 9:30am.

So I arranged another appointment for 1:00pm today and arranged it with my teacher so that I could go into the office for this appointment. I went into the office at 1:00pm and waited. I waited for 10 minutes and then went out - it was cold in there - and then emailed them at 1:30pm asking about my appointment, so have to wait for a reply.

This is ridiculous!! I want to get tested for depression and this is supposed to be my first appointment with them, and they've stood me up twice!!!

It's just makes me feel like they don't even want to talk to me!

So has anyone else had an experience like this? And has anyone had any experience with IAPT? What was it like?

Thanks,
RosieJ

22/12/2014 was the last date I self-harmed. The longest I have gone so far is 1 year, 2 months and 5 days. This time, I hope I can give up! New record: 1 year 6 months! Yay!!
