'Episodes' - January 3rd 2013, 02:56 PM

I keep experiencing really manic episodes of suicidal thoughts, to the point where I go round the house looking for the best way to die. Then 5 minutes later I feel totally at peace and have no intention of suicide. Feelings like that aren't new to me, but I've never had such manic episodes, they're usually drawn out over a day or two before I feel better. Does aynyone else have these 'episodes'?

I think you're mistaken as to what a "manic episode" is. You seem to be experiencing episode Depressive episodes, and could be a possible sign of Depression. You should see your doctor and tell them about these depressive feelings.

Yes, i experience these regularly, but I think Julz might be right on that one, and yes, those could be a sign of depression, and if they get worse of even continue, I suggest telling someone or seeking help in some way. Stay strong, we're all here for you

LOL, as I said, I think you have the wrong definition of "Manic". Mania is a whole other extreme (I've been Depressive and Manic, and thingsin between, haha).
