Imagine the darkest place you have ever been to in your life
Imagine the one person in your life who meant everything to you
Imagine knowing that person your whole adult life

Imagine your best freind turning towards his father and armed with a shotgun...shooting his father twice in the head..killing him instantly

Imagine his daughter coming in to see what is going on....only to get shot twice in the head by the same shotgun killing her instantly

Imagine that the brother of your best freind is sleeping..and without warning....outside stands his murderer...this time armed with a rifle..and shoots him in the head..killing him instantly

Imagine your best freind's thirteen year old niece..who has looked up to her uncle her whole life is sleeping..unaware that her uncle stands over her and points the shotgun at her..and shoots her once in the head...killing her instantly

Imagine your best friend that you have known your whole life taking gasoline and pouring it all over the house...and then lighting the match..

now imagine for one momment..that you are me

i cant do this anymore..im done

Hey man, that's some harsh stuff that has happened.

Unfortunately even with the very best of friends, we don't always know what they're thinking, and we don't always know if they will snap, or when, or why, or how. The sad part is that you have had to be an onlooker, and now you will be traumatised by this.

So - I have no idea what it's like to be in your position. Absolutely none. But I wanted to say that I read this, and I care - this is a horrible thing to have happened.

And I also wanted to suggest, that if you haven't been offered it already, you look into some trauma counselling. Because this stuff is big, but with the right help you can learn to manage living with it. I'm not saying it will be easy and I'm not saying you will be able to put this behind you, I'm just saying that the right assistance will help you accept what has happened.

Reach out to those around you. Tell them what's happened and how it feels to be in the position you're in now. Ask for what you need. Accept any help you are offered.

I'm sorry I can't offer you any useful advice.

Wow, Drew... This is horrible...

I am so sorry that this happened and I can see how this can definitely be traumatizing for you, that's why I think it's good you posted here, you're opening up and talking about it.

I've had no experience with anything like this, but I do believe it's possible to get through this. Time heals everything.

Like Jess said, trauma counseling could definitely do you some good. Have you tried it?

Drew I'm so sorry this happened to you. But remember this isn't your fault. Don't kill yourself there are a lot of people out there that care about you. I am one of those people. I agree with Jess you should definatley look into trauma counselling it could definatley help you. If you ever need to talk you can always pm me or vm me. But please don't kill yourself that is not the answer .

We break fast, cause we are glass.
Cause we are glass.
